This is were I will post my reviews of custom maps for Impossible creature.

All of my reviews are on the left links each map has its own page.

My rating system
First off.
I will never display favoritism for or prejudice against any map author, regardless of his previous work or my personal dealings with him. Repeated reviews of a single author's work is an indication of consistent map making skill, not a continuing bias.
I will not, however, review a map of my own creation or that of a close friend. I strive to be as unbiased as possible, although bear in mind my reviews are product of my own thoughts and opinions, which are subjective and possibly different from your own.
I also will remove a map review upon request from the author if I obtained the map myself. If the author sends his map to me, the review is up for good.
I should also say I have been told I'm a picky *******, when reviewing maps.

I give maps a letter score A+ is the best F is the worst simple enough huh.

This is how I will come up with a score.

Technical part. 50% of the final grade
Does the map have good balance.
Things like coal piles the same distance for all labs.
The distance to geyser spots.
Is the land, water, amphibian impass the same for all bases and expansion areas.
Is there any coal or geysers assigned to a player that shouldn't be.
Does the map run well on a mid level system.
If a map passes all of these it gets at-least a C.

Now game-play score. 30-40% of the final grade
This part of the score is flexible as this is mostly opinion on my part.
Things like choke points, many ways into a base, different levels of terrain, you know is it fun to play.
A flat square with two bases would get a low score.

Beauty Score. 10-20 % of the score
This is how does the map look.
Is there more than one texture I hope so, how well are the textures placed, are there any models, things like trees, bushes, rocks, sticks and so on.
Things like water that has waves, hills that have decal textures applied, terrain that has worn looking trails all add to the score.

Extra credit. Pushes a grade up from say a B to a B+
This is something that all maps should have and most so far don't.
A well written read-me file included with the compressed map file.
A read-me file should also be named the same as the map not just read-me.
Info in the read-me, author of the map, release date, beta testers for the map, a little bit about the map doesn't hurt.
You spend hours over many days to make a good map spend a few minutes and write of a good read-me file.
