I really like this plastic mouse pad it is so flat that I don't feel the edge of it.
Even with the included rubber pad under it that keep the mouse pad in place, this thing holds like glue pad doesn't move even with heavy use.
It has two sides that you use one is smooth the other has tiny bumps on it.
I like the bumpy side the most, better feel and sometime I want I little more friction for the mouse. Also the smooth side doesn't work with my optical mouse but its not suppose to it for the ball style mice.
The mouse pad also comes with teflon tape for adding to your mouse feet. At first you will think I don't really need that well I did anyway. Then a couple days later I took the time to cut the tape and apply it, boy what a difference it made.
The mouse glides like its on a cushion of air and only stops when I want it to.
This was really noticeable when I was doing some editing in Adobe Photoshop 7 I was able to follow the outline of a texture with the selection tool. And when I was done I didn't have to go back and correct it, I thought that's a first for me.
Then I did another texture and that too worked on the first try.
The level of control and the smoothness of the pad had to be the reason.

Another fine mouse pad.

So why are you still reading this go order your own.

Steel Pad  you won't be sorry
