| One
of the most used features in Quake 3 was the
use of curves and this tutorial will show you
how to make a curved corner.
Firstly create
the area in your map where the corner will
reside.

Now
draw a box which is 128x128 units like so.

On
the menu bar go to curves>bevel,
hopefully your box looks like this.

As
you can see we have our curved corner but it's
not in the position we want it to be so we'll
rotate it by pressing the
button 3 times, our brush is now in the
correct position (if not then keep pressing
that button until it is.

Go
back to the curve menu and selected cap>inverted
bevel.
A
dialogue box will appear so selected inverted
bevel and hit ok.
As
you can probably see our curve doesn't look
quite right so go to curve>matrix>invert
and it will spin it back to the way we want
it.

Compile
your map and check the curves on that bad boy
